I recently picked up my 2nd one of these neon green tool kits, and I have to say, they’re a pretty solid buy for someone who’s just getting started with smaller home projects or to fix odds and ends. I was looking for a toolkit that would cover the basics, and this one definitely does the job. I saw it reviewed online by Project Farm and he put this kit through some tests and it performed fairly well (Especially for the price). It comes with a wide range of tools for almost any situation—everything from screwdrivers to pliers—and even includes a carrying bag to keep everything organized.The tools themselves seem durable enough for light to moderate use, and the bright neon green color is actually pretty fun (and easy to spot in a cluttered garage). However, the hammer feels a little on the light side. If you’re planning on tackling bigger projects, you might want something heavier, but for basic around-the-house tasks, it’ll do just fine.I ended up buying two of these kits—one for the boat, just in case of emergencies, and one to keep at my business so I don’t have to haul tools back and forth all the time. Can it help you finish your basement? Probably not, but it’s definitely a great option for the average joe looking to get through everyday home repairs without breaking the bank.
