So these are fairly cheaply made. The screw driver is ratcheting but it's a really bad build and very loose and the bit falls out all the time and is kinda annoying. The rest is all going to work as advertised really and I have no problem with it. You get what you pay for! This is the best bang for your buck for someone who just moved into an apartment and might need to do some stuff around the house, or just got a car and might need to work on a few things themselves from time to time. It definitely helps having this around, but if I was going to use it more than a dozen times a year I'd probably go for something a little nicer.Still, glad I purchased it, because it does everything I need to do quite well. I'd maybe consider supplementing my screw driver needs with a cheap standard/philips reversible one you can find in most hardware stores but that's about it.No full-sized screwdrivers makes this set a four, not five-star. Grabbing the wonky driver handle and finding the right bit is ridiculoous when all you need is to grab a screwdriver. But the sockets and small scale open/box wrenches are a nice touch as is the case. Not a bad starter kit, but you'll want to supplement with a small set of "real" screwdrivers.I bought this as a gift, but had the opportunity to see it opened up. This tool set is better than most on the market. I have seen many tool sets like this, but really disappointed by the cheap construction--this set is much higher quality and a smart variety of tools. It's perfect for vacation home or apartment / condo maintenance.I just moved into a new apartment that lacked furniture, window blinds, curtains. This kit included everything needed, which was a great relief. The labeled case keeps everything neat and organized. I just wish it didn't have the tape measure, since I already had a much better one. The adjustable wrench also wasn't the sturdiest. Overall, a great value and very useful. My mom really likes it. She's a do-it-yourself kind of lady, and we have used these like a hundred times already. All of the tools are good quality, but we only use them for home projects (not for professional work or anything.)The only thing I would complain about is that it's difficult to push the tools back into their holders. My mom is impatient and keeps leaving all these tools in her clear tool backpack instead of forcing them to snap into place. It irritates me to have to search for all of these around the house. But it's not a huge problem. After much juggling with which set to choose from I eventually bought this set for my boyfriend for his bday so i'm yet to see him actually use it.But the tools seem durable & it actually exceeded my expectations in terms of quality & physical appearance since i never really heard of Allied before. i know he will love this set.I tried to use the smallest Phillips screwdriver to unscrew my car key fob, and the small screw drivers are of such poor quality that the screwdriver head was stripped, as well as the screw to my key fob. The screw driver I used was exactly the same size as the screw, so it should have been able to unscrew it with no issues.I haven't used any other tools from this box, but for the most part, they other tools seem sturdy.Serves its purpose. I bought it because I moved into a new house and knew that I would need as many tools as possible. Some of the tools look used out of the box. Not damaged but showed signs of minor scratches and wear. Tools themselves functioned flawlessly which is why I didn't return them. Might spring for a more expensive set in the future but this tool set is a good buy for the price considering the number of tools you get.Wanted a kit that would include most common tools and this set fits the bill. Only missing one thing - a Robertson #1 bit.A good beginner set of toolsIn perfect condition. well worth for moneyEsperaba un producto de mejor calidad, tiene terminados mediocres, con algunas rebabas en la herramienta, en general se sienten económicos.
