I am not a pro archer but this bow is very professionally made and with 50lb RH I can still get the target from 30 yard.First of all I was worrried buying this package because it said sas sage and not samick. Dont worry, this is a samick bow, says it on the bow and came in a samick box. Other bonus is you get the stringer and for 129 that is a killer deal. The bow is very nice and shoots well. My son was hitting tight groups right out of the box. It also came with two rest (cheapies) and a nock. Mine showed up with a little wear on it , but after contacting woods archery, they accomodated me for it. These guys are great, look for them as a seller. One thing to keep in mind a 40lb recurve is a task to shoot. My son is 19 and works out and that bow tests him after an hour. Make sure you do not get too high of a draw for your kids. His old bow was 32 lbs and that lasted most of his teens. The bow we just upgraded from was a sas spirit. Although that was a great bow and we shot it for years (still working great), this appears to be a much nicer bow. based on what i see we should get many years of good service from this.First recurve bow and it's awesome. With some practice it's accurate. Good quality.This is a very nice bow. It has been years since I've used a recurve bow. I turned into a compound bow guy a long time ago but wanted to have a nice recurve again. I am having fun with it. The seller's description of this bow is a little vague. These are actual Samick Sage bows. From what I understand, Samick became Galaxy in 2018. I'm assuming these are among the remaining Samick bows. The new bows are now Galaxy Sage. I wanted a lighter poundage recurve for target practice, yet powerful enough to hunt deer so mine is 45#. I give these bows two thumbs up.This bow is amazing. I ordered a left handed bow, I was afraid that they would get my order wrong, but it came in perfect. I am super happy with the product and I would get a bow from them againSo happy and satisfied.The bow is amazing especially for the price. Beyond that the customer service I received was by far the best I’ve experienced on amazon !I love this bow, it feels great in the hand, shoots true, and easily is taken down for storage or travel convenience. Extremely happy with this purchase!Been target shooting for now. Love my bow. Can’t wait to hunt with it
